Transmitting and receiving systems are vital parts of a lidar system. To achieve coherent detection and reception of laser signals, it is necessary to design and manufacture integrated optical lenses that strictly meet the requirements.
According to the characteristics of an all-fiber lidar, the aspherical lenses and optical circulators are utilized to optimize the laser emission and reception of optical system. By adopting a co-propagating optical path system, the laser echo is reflected and received by the original system and it reaches the detector through the fiber circulator.
This design not only enables the detection and reception of reflected signals over long distances but possesses the advantages of small size, low cost, and relatively simple design structure. The lens incorporates aspherical lenses with AR coatings on both sides, which minimizes the reflection of the beam on the lens surfaces. As a result, a greater amount of incident light can pass through the lens and be efficiently emitted, achieving high-efficiency conversion of the incident beam.
